Job Position
To support its progressive growth and build the organizational capability, we are looking for qualified personnel with high motivation, initiative and integrity to fill in the following positions.Topside & Subsea Structural Engineering (PDV-02)
Main Accountabilities and Responsibilities1. Preparation of offshore structure reports/specifications
2. Follow up of engineering, construction and installation performed by Contractor including, but not limited:
- Overall technical integrity of offshore structure design premises, design and marine structures behaviour.
- Offshore structure compliance with international standards, company guidelines and Engineering best practices.
- Technical support during offshore structure construction and installation.
- Offshore floating layout verification.
- Supervision of contractor structural design.
- Structural material selection and specification.
- Planning, review and follow-up of structure construction, transportation and installation.
- Structures cost and schedule estimates.
- Attend HAZID, HAZOP and SIMOPS meetings.
- Ensure the performance, install-ability and operability of the subsea systems.
- Select the best technical/economical solutions for the subsea system architecture, ensuring overall technical integrity.
Required knowledge, technical or professional skills
1. Professional Role general knowledge:
- Structural Design of Offshore and Subsea Structures
- Material Selection and Welding for Offshore structures.
2. Knowledge from other Prof. Areas
- HSE Principles and Systems
- Construction Works (Offshore structures)
- Conventional Installation (Offshore units, deepwater subsea)
3. Software Knowledge:
- SESAM DNV-GL (Genie, Presel, Wajac, Gensod, Splice, Sestra, Framework, Xtract) for offshore structures analyses (topside and subsea structures).
- ANSYS Workbench for Finite Element Analysis of un-conventional structural components and hull parts.
- LS-DYNA and USFOS for non-linear analyses.
- AUTOCAD and TEKLA for structures drawings/modelling.
4. Critical Job Skills:
- Team player, frequent interaction with others departments (also construction and operations) and the contractors personnel.
- Problem solving
- Flexibility.
Minimum Requirements:
- Graduate level qualification in general engineering
- 8 years in oil & gas project experience.
- Fluent in written and spoken English
- Experience of managing professional personnel
- Previous experience as Company Yard Representative for Offshore Structure Construction
- Previous experience as Company field engineer on board of Construction/Installation Vessel
- Previous Work Experience in Fast-Track Projects
- Structure Design for FPU brownfield modification
- Coordination of project structural team.
