Job Description:
The Terminal Facilities Engineer is accountable for maintenance and minor project execution at the terminal(s) he or she is assigned to. Maintenance and minor project execution entails:
- Develop the equipment care inspection and maintenance plan with the site Reliability and Integrity Engineer, Terminal Manager, and Terminal Operations Support based on the global standard R&I template.
- Scheduled the inspection and maintenance plan in GSAP.
- Define the respective schedule scope.
- Schedule and plan inspection and maintenance activities for execution by developing look aheads, coordinate site and planning activities with terminal operations, source for contractor resources to execute the work, lead the work preparation and overseeing the field execution.
- Ensure all records generated by the inspection/maintenance is properly logged and recorded in the respective tools.
- Complete all activities to support the issuance of the Statement of Fitness as part of the sites Pre Startup Safety Review, and submit SOF for submission.
- Adhere to other requirements as stipulated in the TSO Asset Management System processes.
In addition to executing maintenance and minor projects, the FE are also required to:
- To collect, analyse and present KPIs as required by the AMS processes.
- Provide engineering assessment to Management of Change requests as and when required.
- Analyse maintenance trends, threats to plant availability and other analysis
Requirements:
- Minimum an Engineering degree from a reputable college.
- Preferably with minimum 5 years experience in maintenance/projects engineering.
- Familiarity with tank works, pipe works, pressure relief systems and pressure vessels. API certification is a plus.
- Familiarity and understanding of local regulatory requirements.
- Abiliy to understand P&IDs
- Fit to work in an outdoor environment.
