1. Rotating Sr. Technician

JOB DESCRIPTION:

1. Preventive Maintenance:

  • Execute scheduled preventive maintenance tasks for rotating equipment such as pumps, compressors, blowers, fans, turbines, mixers, and gearboxes.
  • Use standard PM checklists to verify mechanical condition and performance.
  • Perform vibration monitoring checks and report abnormalities.

2. Corrective & Breakdown Maintenance:

  • Diagnose faults and perform corrective repair of failed rotating equipment components (e.g., bearing change, seal replacement, alignment).
  • Work with maintenance planners and engineers to restore equipment with minimal downtime.
  • Ensure quality workmanship and use proper tools and procedures.

3. Routine Inspection & Monitoring:

  • Conduct daily patrols to check abnormal sound, temperature, or leaks in rotating machines.
  • Record findings and report early signs of mechanical issues.
  • Support root cause analysis for repeated failures or chronic problems.

4. Overhaul & Major Maintenance:

  • Participate in machine overhauls during turnarounds or major shutdowns.
  • Disassemble, inspect, repair, and reassemble major equipment under supervision.
  • Follow OEM guidelines and internal standards during overhauls.

5. Precision Maintenanc:

  • Perform alignment using laser or dial indicators.
  • Check for soft foot, balance, runout, and other critical parameters.
  • Apply proper torque, tolerances, and fitting techniques.

6. Documentation & Reporting:

  • Complete work orders, checklists, and maintenance reports accurately.
  • Use CMMS (SAP or similar system) to log tasks and close maintenance jobs.

7. Safety & Compliance:

  • Follow all safety rules, permit-to-work systems, and LOTO procedures.
  • Use PPE and safe tools for mechanical jobs.
  • Report unsafe conditions or near-miss incidents.

9. Teamwork & Collaboration:

  • Work closely with process operations, reliability, and engineering teams.
  • Support contractor supervision during major repair works.
  • Participate in toolbox meetings and technical discussions.


Job Requirements:

  • Min. D3 in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent with min. 5 years’ experience background in Petrochemical/ Chemical plant/ Oil & Gas Plant/ Power Plant industry
  • High School graduate or equivalent with > 5 years’ experience background in Petrochemical/ Chemical plant/ Oil & Gas Plant/ Power Plant industry can be considered
  • Preferable experience for gas turbine generator, extruder, jetty or auto warehouse

2. Jr. Static Piping Engineer

JOB DESCRIPTION:

  • Assist in the inspection, maintenance, and repair of static equipment such as pressure vessels, heat exchangers, storage tanks, piping systems, and valves.
  • Support maintenance activities as per schedules and procedures.
  • Participate in equipment troubleshooting and help prepare technical reports for identified issues.
  • Maintain accurate maintenance and inspection records in the CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System).
  • Assist in preparing and updating equipment drawings, P&IDs, and technical documentation.
  • Support compliance with relevant codes and standards (ASME, API, ANSI) and company safety policies

3. Rotating Engineer 

JOB DESCRIPTION:

 1. Maintenance Planning & Execution

  • Develop and update preventive maintenance schedules for rotating equipment.
  • Prepare job plans, procedures, and spare parts lists for maintenance activities.
  • Coordinate with operations, maintenance, and reliability teams to execute planned work.

2. Troubleshooting & Repair

  • Diagnose and analyze mechanical failures on pumps, compressors, blowers, turbines, agitators, and gearboxes.
  • Recommend corrective actions and supervise field repair activities.
  • Engage with OEMs and vendors for specialized technical support.

3. Condition Monitoring

  • Monitor equipment health through vibration analysis, oil analysis, temperature monitoring, and performance checks.
  • Interpret condition monitoring data and recommend actions to prevent failures.
  • Support reliability improvement programs such as RCM or FMEA.

4. Turnaround & Operation Support

  • Prepare scope and work packages for rotating equipment during plant shutdowns or turnarounds.
  • Supervise contractors and ensure QA/QC compliance during overhauls.
  • Participate in commissioning of new or modified rotating equipment.

5. Documentation & Reporting

  • Maintain up-to-date equipment history and maintenance records in CMMS (e.g., SAP).
  • Prepare technical reports, failure analyses, and improvement recommendations.
  • Update and review maintenance procedures and technical drawings.

6. Compliance & Safety

  • Ensure all work is executed in accordance with Lotte Chemical’s safety standards and Indonesian regulations.
  • Apply Permit to Work, Lock-Out Tag-Out (LOTO), confined space, and hot work procedures.
  • Promote a strong safety culture within the maintenance team.

 

Job Requirements:

  • Perform and execute all simulated emergencies' drills and exercises by continuous evaluation of procedures and response to meet high standard of readiness for Emergency Response Team

2. Production Operators (4 positions)

We are seeking a Production Operator to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for the safe and efficient operation of equipment and systems at our upstream oil and gas facilities. This includes monitoring and controlling production processes.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform and monitor day-to-day process activities and work teams job assignments in accordance with Offshore and Onshore Operations requirements to ensure plant unit availability, reliability, and safety in compliance with the Company rules, policies, guidelines and statutory requirements.
  • Operate and perform basic troubleshooting activities on unit and equipment to ensure correct process mode and configuration in compliance to process requirements. Perform operational pigging exercise including chemical injection to ensure reliability and integrity of pipeline.

  • Execute necessary repairs and maintenance on instrumentation equipment to support the operation and maintenance of regional/country oil and gas production, both in onshore and offshore facilities, ensuring the highest technical standards are maintained in a safe and cost-effective manner.

Responsible to conduct, compile, and analyze company performance data from task forces, facilitating accurate and timely data reporting, and coordinate with internal stakeholders to realize business objectives to maintain competitive advantage and allocate resources appropriately to support all HCML operations.

Requirements:

  • Minimum bachelor’s degree in Petroleum Engineering, Mechanical or other related Engineering disciplines.
  • Have a minimum of 5 years’ experience in drilling& Completion and well intervention Function in Oil& Gas Industry.
  • Have a minimum of 3 years’ experience in drilling and completion, or well intervention on-site activities.
  • Familiarity with ISO, API, NORSOK, and NACEMR0175/ISO 15156 standards for HPHT and sour gas well environmental.
  • Have experience in well integrity & compliance, well integrity monitoring & risk management, annulus pressure management, temperature and pressure logging, corrosion monitoring, gas migration and wellhead & Xmas tree integrity.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate with drilling, completion, production, maintenance and HSE teams. Strong leadership and project management skills for well integrity initiatives.
  • Technical support on well integrity-related workovers, well intervention, and well P&A activities.
  • Data analysis (analyze pressure, annulus fluid behavior, and production data to detect anomalies and integrity concerns) and Digital well integrity management (experience in well integrity software).
  • IWCF Level 3 (Well control, IADC, Equivalence requirement) certification is preferable Conduct periodic well integrity audits and prepare technical reports for stakeholders.

About the Role

  • Reporting to the Regional Manager - Precontracts, the Proposal Engineer is responsible for ensuring detailed tender submissions are compiled in accordance with company procedures for Senior Management Review.
  • Communicate with Operations and Regional Managers in reviewing all aspects of the tender including Construction Methodology, Commercial/Technical Risks and Opportunities, Alternatives, Submission Documentation, Production Rates, Material and Subcontract Enquiries and any Programming Requirements.
  • Facilitate review meetings and work closely with Bid Managers and Estimators to support various bids as assigned.
  • Development of construction plans, including staff, labour, plant histograms.
  • Development of construction schedule for EPC activities.
  • Development of cost estimates in accordance with client requirements.
  • Analysis of RFQs and tender documents.
  • Writing submission documents.
  • Conduct site visits as and when necessary.

About You
To be considered for the opportunity, you will need the following:

  • Relevant Tertiary Qualifications in Engineering.
  • Minimum 5 - 8 years of project management and or estimating experience.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of technology and market applications/trends.
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently and apply innovative practical solutions to solve complex issues.
  • Focused on meeting objectives and timeframes through the use of Company processes.
  • Competent in use of relevant in-house software.

  • Responsible for testing, maintenance, and repair of various Electro-mechanical assemblies as per SOP in the base and in client premises.
  • Train and assist customer for the operation/maintenance of equipment.

  • Assist and feedback to R&D department for product improvement.
